As your therapist, I try to create a safe environment where you can feel comfortable and be able to do process in a sheltered way. I am honored to be part of client’s process of change and I allow this to happen organically by having transformative conversations. During our sessions, we work collaboratively to explore different areas in a client’s life in which we are able to discover traits and skills. These resources permit the client to separate their identity from the problem allowing us to have a better picture in which the client’s capacities, interests, aptitudes, and commitments are more visible. My therapeutic lens is very respectful making the client the expert of their problems and as a therapist, my position comes from a genuine curiosity. This process is a fertile ground for motivation and encouragement to re-write the client’s story by deconstructing together the impact of their problems in their lives. I am here to help you walk through the process of change and healing by co-creating a new story and firmly ground them, together.

Experience

I have attended the Brief Therapy Institute; a clinic that allows students to practice under supervision. I also have attended the Behavioral Health Psychiatric Inpatient Unit, in which I conducted and facilitated individual, couples, family, and group therapy. I had the opportunity to attend the Promise Program/Systemic Change in schools and I was able to provide assessments and interventions to at-risk students who have been suspended from their respective schools for offenses often punishable by law. Finally, I had the honor to be part of the Moyer Foundation and Catholic Hospice, in which I was able to co-facilitate group sessions with youth 6-9 years old on losing loved ones to accidental death, suicide, AIDS, kidney failure, Cancer, stroke, brain aneurysm, heart attack, overdose, and drowning.

Hope

I consider myself lucky to have been exposed to great experiences during my training years. These involvements gave me the resources I need in order to start the co-creation of a new story with you. I hope that these words gave you a better picture of myself and I will be honored to start this humble process with you. Thank you!
