“We don’t have to do all of it alone.

We were never meant to.”

“Nosotros no tenemos que hacerlo solos

nunca fuimos destinados a hacerlo.”

My name is Laura and I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. As a mental health professional it is my goal to provide a safe environment where others feel empowered, supported, and safe throughout the sharing of their stories.

I am a graduate from Alliant International University, where I received my Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. During my Master’s education I gained experienced working with children, adolescents, families, and individuals. I have received professional development training in: TF-CBT, grief and loss, suicide, self-harm, sand tray therapy, art therapy, music therapy, and play therapy.I also have experienced working with Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) as a Clinical Developmental Associate with children diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and other developmental disorders. I am currently continuing my education at Alliant International University where I am enrolled in the PsyD Couples and Family Therapy program.

My treatment approach is Narrative Family therapy. I work from a collaborative stance, where we can explore and process life experiences together. Sharing your story requires vulnerability, courage and strength. I am here to support and walk with you as you go through the process of rewriting the story you chose to live in.
