Kimberly Rivas

Clinical Profile

I provide culturally sensitive, strength‐based therapy to adolescents, young adults, and families. I have experience working with at‐risk youth impacted by the juvenile justice system, providing school‐based therapy to teens and young adults, and supporting parents and families through a variety of challenges.

My therapeutic approach integrates attachment‐based, psychodynamic, family systems, and strength‐based perspectives, with play therapy incorporated when appropriate. I strive to create a safe, collaborative, and culturally responsive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

I have experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress‐related experiences, grief and loss, family dynamics, immigration and assimilation, and life transitions.

As a bilingual therapist, I provide services in both English and Spanish. I value honoring each client’s cultural background, identity, family experiences, and individual strengths throughout the therapeutic process.
